Help keep SoberHub free
SoberHub is a free recovery reading app with no ads, no subscriptions and no data sales. It's run by a small California nonprofit. If you've been invited to support this work, thank you for taking a look. This page explains how to give, where gifts go and what they pay for.
Using SoberHub? You never need to pay or give anything. The app is free and will stay free.
Give online
PayPal balance or card. Secure checkout on paypal.com, which emails your receipt.
Card, bank transfer, Apple Pay, PayPal, Venmo, donor-advised funds, stock or crypto. One-time or monthly. Secure checkout on every.org, which emails your tax receipt.
Prefer to talk first? Email us at give@soberhub.life. We're happy to answer anything.
Other ways to give
- Zelle. Send to give@soberhub.life (SoberHub). There are no fees. Zelle doesn't send a receipt, so we email you one.
- Donor-advised fund (DAF). Recommend a grant to SoberHub, EIN 33-3208860. Most DAF sites find us by name or EIN. If yours asks for an address, email give@soberhub.life.
- Stock. Give appreciated stock through our Every.org page, or email give@soberhub.life and we'll set it up with you.
- From an IRA (age 70½ or older). A qualified charitable distribution can go straight from your IRA to SoberHub. Ask your IRA administrator, and use our name and EIN above.
- Employer matching. Many employers match gifts to 501(c)(3) charities. Check with your HR team or giving portal.
Where your gift goes
Your gift funds the people, tools and infrastructure that keep SoberHub free:
Running costs. Servers, cloud data services, domains and app-store developer accounts.
Recording equipment. Studio microphones, a field recorder, singing bowls and acoustic treatment, so we can produce new audio editions and guided meditations ourselves.
People. In time, paid staff for engineering, audio production and support, set by our board.
What your gift does
- $100
- a month of servers, cloud services and app-store fees
- $2,000
- a professional singing bowl for guided meditations, or the field recorder that captures it
- $2,600
- a matched pair of AKG C414 studio microphones
- $20,000
- the complete recording studio, built once and used for every new audio edition
- $25,000 or more
- paid staff time, so the work doesn't depend on volunteer hours
Amounts are examples; we use gifts where they're needed most. Monthly gifts of any size help us plan.
